So, as someone who did the Couch to 5k guide you posted and can now run for over 30min, I think this guide kind of stinks, since I always get out of my rhythm when I stop running and start walking in between. Imo, I think it's better to just run longer and don't take walking breaks inbetween at that point.

If you can just run longer and longer, do it. I didn't need the 10k guide the first time I did it but if I skip my training for a while I get back on track faster when I am using the breaks like it is in the pic compared to just running myself down and getting burnt. It is just a guide, you can and should adapt it to suit yourself.
and of course try to progress in any way:
-adding reps each workout
-adding sets
-increasing the duration of each rep
-decreasing the rest in between sets
-doing a easier variation at the end of the set (drop sets)
-doing a harder push up variation(one arm assisted, declined, diamond)
etc...
This seems pretty solid. I started doing pushups in with my other exercises when I started. I always tried to top my max and just kept at it with that kind of mindset of just getting better one pushup at a time
OP, pushups are fine and everyone starts somewhere, but you really should just bite the bullet and go to a gym. Your gains will be 10x faster and more reliable, calisthenics will only get you so far. Adding weight to a pushup routine requires some trickery, its safer to just do it the normal way.
I keep getting a weird tinge in my left bicep when doing pushups, like my funny bone keeps getting smacked when I'm in the upward motion. Any idea what this could be?

when you reach 10 in the morning and 10 at night, go for as long as you can at night and then use that number as your morning set until you can increase again.
