I haven't tried this in a while, let's see if we can get some interest in a thread like this

What do you think is the most fucked-up, ghetto, gangster, crime-ridden, dangerous, violent city in America?

And are the worst U.S. cities as dangerous and violent as the worst cities in places like Mexico, Brazil, Honduras, El Salvador, Venezuela, South Africa?

Here's a quick list of some of America's most-dangerous cities that immediately come to mind:

1.) Detroit
2.) Baltimore
3.) Chicago
4.) Camden
5.) Gary
6.) Cleveland
7.) Flint
8.) East St. Louis
9.) Memphis
10.) Houston
11.) St. Louis
12.) Youngstown
13.) Cincinnati
14.) Buffalo
15.) Tulsa
16.) Atlanta
17.) Miami
18.) Birmingham
19.) Los Angeles
20.) Kansas City
21.) Oakland
22.) Jacksonville
23.) Orlando
24.) Albuquerque
25.) Phoenix
I know that I left out a bunch of cities that have really rough, dangerous areas and deserve to be mentioned, but I just put that list together in a hurry, because I wanted to start the thread and see if there's any interest in it. I'm from Arizona, and while Phoenix and Tucson certainly have some bad areas, lots of drugs and crime, especially, since being close to the Mexican border, I don't think the bad areas are even close to as wild, scary and violent as the worst parts of cities like Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, Memphis, Philadelphia, etc. And being that I haven't traveled much, I'm always very curious to hear what other parts of the country are like and I like to hear about other people's experiences, who have been to these places that I likely will not get to travel to any time soon.

So, if you're from a bad part of town or live in a really rough city/area, or if you've spent time in one of these places, feel free to post and share some of your experiences. I'd really like to get to read some stories about firsthand experiences.

The most dangerous cities in the US are still safer than some the safest cities in the other countries you've listed.

WTF is that shit?

Where are you from? And what made you become such a racist? I'm legitimately curious.

0,52 gallon red wine, for only 0,61 cents

Oh no! How terrible. I wonder what they all have in common?

Phoenix was pretty cool when I visited. You can add Philly to that last, OP. It’s a shithole.

Spokane

Well how is that racist? You don't live around what I live around, thats your fucking problem. People who think you think everyone should be the same and act like the same person, thats not possible, thats delusional. I'm poor and can't afford an expensive 4 year education still. Tellin you, it's how these people live. Guns, whores and money. Once the government takes control of your business, you are fucked. That's why bullets keep flying. Wake up, kid.

Chelsea, MA deserves to be on your list

Also the "government" has access to all sorts of money to pay to the guys who have the balls to go out and kill for their boss. Doesn't matter who it is now, who's ever paying for hits cause apparently theres no guarenteed job out of college. Trust me, its what the government wants, they want us to fight and prove ourselves BECAUSE THERE NOTHING ELSE TO DO. Life is boring and not fair.

Nothing scary about Detroit. You just sound like some white dude who hates going to the hood for weed.

How is that realistically possible? How can a place be that much worse than the worst parts of Detroit, Chicago, Camden, Memphis, Cleveland, St. Louis, Houston, NYC, LA?

What exactly are you referring to?

Are you from Philly? If so, which city is worse, Philadelphia or Camden?

WTF? Is Spokane worse than Seattle? Or, the other fairly big city in Washington that's supposed to be fucked-up and crime-ridden and has legitimate gang and drug issues?

Why is Chelsea so bad? Is it just the prescription pill problems? Or are there violent gangs there? Organized crime? Race wars?

I don't smoke weed, and haven't been to Detroit, but stereotypes exist for a reason and Detroit doesn't have a reputation of being a rough fucking city for nothing.

>hates going to the hood for weed
Honestly, who even does this? Its 2020 and you can get good weed anywhere. Why deal with coons?

>Why is Chelsea so bad?
sanctuary city, ms13, haitian gangs, heroin
very high likelihood of being victim of a violent crime there

Come to 8th and Washington street in Wilmington DE than tell me about a tough city. Had to duck a shootout at the laundromat on the corner of that shit.

Where do you live? And how old are you? Also, got any pics of your city/area that you have taken yourself?

lol nice try.

Because the gangs in those places are laughable compared to gangs in the third world.

> Los Angeles
It’s not the 80s anymore.
It’s now one of the nicest cities I’ve been to.
t. Bellflower resident

Lol right. The dispensary here in San Francisco brings it to my house with a receipt. I can order from my phone these days

I specifically recall seeing Wilmington mentioned in these threads many times, back when I sued to post them regularly, like 2-3 years ago. I only know of the city, because I've seen it on the address for credit card applications or bill collections, or some shit like that, so I had no idea that it was a dangerous place. However, when it was mentioned, people said that it is straight-up fucking terrible there, like, as bad as Philadelphia and Chester, Pa, which is another lesser-known city, like Wilmington, that was often mentioned as being a really rough place.

Btw, what are the cops in Wilmington like? Are they thugged-out gangster, as well? I would assume, and hope, so; because you need badass/gangster cops to be able to go to war with the baddass/gangster street thugs that ruin cities and kill people.

That sounds like a really shitty situation. Is Chelsea as bad as the worst parts of/around Boston? Is Chelsea as bad as Philly? Baltimore? Camden? Buffalo?

I've seen comments like this in past threads, but how the fuck could there be places, and people, who are much worse than the thugged-out motherfucking killers in places like Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Memphis, New Orleans, etc.?

I have heard that, which is why I only included LA towards the bottom of the list, and I almost left it off. However, I have to think that there are so many gangs, and overall gang members, that Los Angeles still had to have lots of fucking terrible areas that are incredibly crime-ridden, dangerous and violent. Right? Plus, Skid Row is no joke and is not a place you want to be after dark, if I'm not mistaken.

As a britbong who has only ever been to the middle of butt fuck nowhere in California on military exercises, where would be the best place to go? I'm not a big fan of cities, I prefer small towns, forests, mountains, etc. Scenery over buildings, if that makes sense.

Yeah skid row is a mess. Watts is a hellhole too. Oddly Compton and Long Beach are becoming increasingly gentrified

I take it that you are from the Los Angeles area? If so, I'm curious, do the gangs ever fuck with or get in to confrontations with the homeless people around there? And what are the homeless people generally like? Do they generally just want/ask for money? Or, like many of them in San Francisco seem to be, are they mentally ill maniacs who are confrontational and violent and who approach and harass people constantly?

I’m from SF originally and the do seem to be more mentally ill in the Bay Area and more of a beach bum/druggie vibe here in Los Angeles. Especially in the Venice beach area. As a generalization gangs don’t want to draw unnecessary attention to themselves. Kinda Of a don’t start shit and there won’t be shit mind set

>Chelsea
Its technically not part of Boston, but basically as bad as the worst parts of Boston proper (Roxbury/Dorchester/Mattapan)

>13.) Cincinnati
Nice, though I thought we'd rank higher. Until those faggots in Ferguson we were the most recent city to have a race riot.

Lol that whole place is a shithole
Revere, Malden,Medford Lynn
All shit holes too

Seriously? Why don't you look up some of the cartels works on some gore sites? Or the work of some of the gangs in Africa?

Fuck it...the whole state is a dump
Springfield Worcester Lowell lawerence the whole state. Stupid accent too. Almost as bad as southern states

came to think of this gem
youtube.com/watch?v=oZzgAjjuqZM

Everett too

And East Boston. And fuck bobs furniture
Fuck Bernie and Phil
And fuck Tom Brady
And everyone in Allston should be killed

Oh and fuck the toll plaza on 90

You aren't wrong about any of the places you named, but there are plenty of nice places as well.

But Ipswich and Newburyport are fucking cool

toll plazas are all gone user
ez pass only

I kek'd, despite my love for Claes Oldenberg

I left in 2012 but same difference. Fuck tolls. And fuck snow too lol

Damn! So, you are from SF, but now live in LA? If so, which city has a worse homeless problem? I know that there are more homeless people in LA, but it sounds like they are more prevalent in SF, because of the density of the city. Also, it sounds like the homeless population cause way more problems in SF than they do in LA. I have no idea why that is, but I've read many comments about this over the past couple years and it certainly sounds like the homeless people in SF cause way more problems than the homeless people in LA cause.

Also, I know that San Francisco has some really nice areas, as does Los Angeles, but I've also heard that SF has major gang/crime/violence/problem problems and while not as widespread and massive as the gang problems in LA, it sounds like they have serious gang/drug/violence problems in the Bay Area, for sure. And I know that Oakland gets the majority of the attention and blame for the bay Area's crime problems, but it definitely sounds like San Francisco deserves plenty of blame, too.

FYI, I made the list myself and put it together while in a hurry. I'm curious, do you think that the crime/violence problems in Cincinnati are on the same level as that shit in Cleveland? Or is Cleveland significantly worse? Also, are you familiar with Youngstown? I am not very familiar with it, but I have heard/read that it's no fucking joke there, that there are serious drug, crime and violence problems there and that there is still a legitimate mob presence in Youngstown. Do you know about any of this?

Are the worst parts of Boston/Chelsea as bad as the worst parts of Baltimore, Philadelphia, Camden, Trenton, Jersey City, East Orange, NYC, Buffalo, Rochester?

Eh I know. Woke up to snow this morning actually
