I'm saying that the same tired imagery is used ad nauseum to deride people who try to propose an alternative to "oops, Citi and Chase are asking for money again, better give it to them" and "American Airlines needs more cash after buying back their stock".
It's always the same, because while you are appreciating the differences of the two, the people who consistently vote for "capitalism" only see them all as one thing: commies. There aren't many tools used to keep the base in line, because the Red Scare is often all that is needed.

That really depends on the type. Anarchism of any stripe seems to have a staying power of a few months at best. Marxism-Leninism seems to last decades and may in fact be stable. Fascism seems to be fairly stable as well when it isn't attacked, but it tends to decompose into monarchism (Spain) or social democracy (Argentina).
Honestly I'll take anything over neoliberalism though. Even anarchism acts as a purgative.
I have a measure of respect for him, though obviously he's not my favorite.
