ITT: Dungeons and Dragons

How hard should it normally be to find a group to DM? I'm absolutely terrified of most people in the local card shop and I don't really have enough friends with an interest to start

If you're terrified of strangers and you don't have finds, find an online group. Otherwise you're more or less SOL.

Visit a local card shop. If you're still in school ask those who play yugioh or whatever is cool about if they know a group. Normally they do even if they don't play.

I guess I just worry a lot about online groups too!! I run much more RP heavy, story based kinda games but I find the amount of people who can go a session without looting and shooting is low. Do you think there's forums out there that make it easier to find groups who want a less action-y style?

You can use a pool table for the same purpose, mein Führer.

Currently we're in Eberron.
We just left Sharn and we're heading to the mournlands we started at level one. All of us were born in Sharn.
This is first time our characters have been out of the city even roleplaying wise.

it's a shame because it really looks like you put a lot of effort I to that table, and it looks like shit. why not just cover it up with a layer of felt? it would look 10x better and serve the same purpose.

I haven't DnD'd in many, many years. I just played with friends locally. There are online resources, but I never got too far into that. You'll have to dig for the good ones on your own or maybe some other Yas Forumsro here can help you out.

I did make one exactly like it for a group and I did line it with something retarded that I won't even mention but it was by their request.
