I mainly play minecraft and sometimes starwars battlefront 2 and sometimes risk of rain 2 on pc. I play a few singleplayer story games sometimes. but those arent important in this discussion
and then I play overwatch, tetris effect, and kingdom hearts series on ps4.
How am I supposed to not be actively trying to make friends? It's not something I can be casual about. I get too excited and clingy to them even as a friend.

I guess singleplayer wise I play. Stanley parable, ace attorney, danganronpa, islanders, bloons td6, and some game from gamejolt called icarus.

Didn't like the look of the new ones, I suppose I am pretty old school, though. Play a ton of games, but mostly older stuff, I feel like a lot of newer games just aren't that great.

I'm just going off by my experience here, people tend to be overwhelmed when you start emotionally smothering them and find it awkward, in saying that though I guess at the end of the day it depends on what kind of person you are and how you act, just try and work along their vibe and things'll go cleanly.

I do play a few rts games but I dont have them installed due to no space on computer/ I was too bad at them and didnt want to get into another game like overwatch where I have to know the meta.

It's kinda awful. You keep being excited and ask them to play games. But they never want to. And if they say yes they get annoyed and stop after 10 minutes and it turns into an argument.
Even at times where everyone seems to have fun, the next day they'll get annoyed if you wanna play again and they'll say they never wanna play with you again out of nowhere.
It's kind of awful really. Online friends don't care about you or about having a comfy group for gaemu. They just need you to fill a void of boredom at times.

Which ones? I've only ever really liked Age of Empires and Command & Conquer myself, well, for the most part anyway.
Overwatch is pretty poorly designed as far as shooters go anyway. Showed a little bit of promise early on, but really went nowhere.
