Depending on how shitty it is, you might want to consider getting a posture corrector
I used to have really bad posture, planking and push ups seemed to have helped, just make sure you do them right.
Although I did running and other stuff as well, so that might have had an effect too. also try some exercises for your back too. Do this regularly and it might help. Good luck user!
This image scares me.
After working in a restaurant where a guy dropped a fire extinguisher in a deep fryer and pulled it out with a pair of tongs, I never want to go near a deep fryer again.
I’m a line cook and that image is the scariest shit I’ve ever seen.
Your best bet is a physical therapist that specializes in posture correction.
But anyway, it depends what issues you have. Do you have forward neck, rounded shoulders, anterior pelvic tilt, scoliosis, etc?
But for now, I'd suggest doing something simple-- do the bare minimum daily (something that takes under 5 minutes total) then add more things once you have the current action as a habit.
I'd suggest wall slides and reverse plank bridges for now. Remember that posture correction is essentially just stretching/massaging tight/short/strong muscles and strengthening weak muscles to achieve balance.
dedlifts
you can fuck yourself up if you're approaching deadlifts while having a shitty posture
Imagine the mess
what would happen? the ice explodes?
Dead hangs
Yes. Dropping ice makes bubbles but its like an explosion.
All of them

Okay but seriously if you want the bare minimum you want to do isometrics so squat holds, pushup holds, planks, supermans, handstands, put a ball or small box between your knees and squeeze them together, and bridges
The difference in temperature plus the fact that it's oil and water means that they dramatically repel each other, so yeah it sprays hot oil everywhere
Goddamn...did someone actually try this? Reminds me of the forge in shop class. Don’t even fuck around with that temperature disparity.
Deadlift, anyone that says otherwise is coping.
What happened to the fire extinguisher and what sort of extinguisher was it?
The reason people keep saying to do ab work is because the role of the abs is to support the spine (this why you brace with your abs before a heavy lift.) A deadlift will do this + strengthen your spinal erectors which is why your posture is perfect after a few good sets of deadlifts. If you don't have access to weights in this lockdown then do ab work and it will help too.
If you got slumped shoulders that's usually just a bad habit unless you destroyed your rear delts with 10x10 bench presses. Just teach yourself to stop rolling them. Same with keeping your chin up.
My friend burned his hand when a big blob of grease landed on him he said it was the worst pain he ever felt he had a burn on the web of his hand for ages
Basically it starts spraying boiling grease everywhere. Shit will fuck you up
Damn. Used to work at a restaurant with identical fryers. Even a few drops of water falling into a fryer made hot oil pop out like crazy. That picture is a bomb
This picture gives me anxiety.
Yeah I used to work at a fast food place and one time it got real busy and my buddy was trying to be fast and splash a huge glob of grease on my arm, burnt like all fucking hell and had a mark for a few months still sorta visible on my hand where a bit landed( didn't happen from a fryer but actually from a grill while cleaning it) that being said tho I have had similar burns from dryers and they hurt just as much , pic related the burn is sorta visible below my pointer and middle finger
this image is extremely cursed
I burned myself with grease from a frying pan when I was still in school ~6 years ago.
My fire alarm went off, and like an absolute idiot I panicked and used the frying pan to knock it down from the ceiling.
Safe to say, I had oil all over my arm and apartment.
I worked at a sonic during hs and I hated when it was my turn to clean the deep fryers. We cleaned them while they were still hot just drained the oil out of them ect ect. One time I left one on lmao what did i know I'm retarded.
We have these exact fryers at work, one drop of water causes it to freak out and spit hot oil everywhere. I can only imagine what this would cause
popping boiling grease all over you
What if i went to McDonald's with a bag of ice and started throwing cubes into the oil?
If you drop toys in the deep fryer they come out clear.
>GRRRRR THING MAKE NOISE GRUG SMASH
Are you a woman? Because you have the intellect of one
I burned myself on a flattop while cleaning it too. Put oil on to help move the brick easier. Brick got stuck, I pushed it, and then the oil got launched onto my wrist. Hurt like a bitch. Had to go to work with a huge bubble for like 3 days after. Have some bary noticable discoloration now. Cant even see on camera.

What happens is that the water instantly boils when it hits the hot oil. When it does this, it expands to 1000x its size as a liquid, this will violently fling hot oil everywhere.
