>make upgrade when pricing is best
>tech advances like a month later
This always happens.
RAM speed mattering is such a meme
>buying Ryzen 4000 and not waiting for Ryzen 5000
>speed is increased
>but timings also get worse
It barely is an upgrade at all outside of like using it with ryzen APUs
My windows boots in 10 seconds, I have barely no loading times on new games thanks to my SSD.
The expected return for buying a new DDR5 is ridiculously low now with our current tech.
yes
ram speed does matter, but has diminishing returns as of right now. doubt ddr5 will change that.
anybody upgrading/waiting right now won't be doing it just for ram, but to upgrade their existing pc.
if ram bandiwdth mattered I'd run in quad channel
Updraded my motherboard to 32gb of ram for workstationy stuff, when's ddr5 dropping friends?
>waiting for 5000 and not 23000
