>It's linear
And this is bad why?
Why is this game so boring? I've tried to play this shit 3 different times and each time I got to Nipton and gave up...
>It's linear. Balancing a non-level scaled world is an empty accomplishment when there's only one intended way through it.
AGAIN, you have not played the game, or dropped it 10 hours in. You don't follow this loop from point A to B, and even if you do, you get sent out back into the wasteland. There's also stuff to find north, south, west and east that completely gets left out of your so called ''loop''
Again, play the game, or come up with an argument that is actually feasible
And you know this how?
I played up to Freeside twice and got bored each time. I don't know if that's shallow but I'm not going to suffer through the entire game just to get internet argument points and somehow I'd expect you'd tell me I was playing wrong anyhow. It's a loop. All Primm Pass does is skip past Nipton.
RPGs are about freedom and player agency. If you're being led along by the devs through a series of preplanned sequential activities you're being funneled into, then you're playing a bad RPG. Literally every other game in the numbered series handles this better than NV.
Because it's too convenient that someone that 'finds NV boring' just happens to have FO1 and 2 as some of his favourite games. Plus if you don't have the patience for NV I'd doubt you'd get out of the first cave in 1 let alone reach Shady Sands. You're a butthurt FO3 fan regurgitating his dribble for the 500th time in the last decade, or, at best, a mindless shitposter.
>all Primm Pass does is skip the loop
Are you legit retarded? Like I said, you ran the 'loop' to freeside and now try to argue that the 'loop' is all there is to the game even though most of the content doesn't follow the 'loop'
>RPGs are about freedom and player agency
Yes. And New Vegas gives you more freedom and player agency in solving quests or dealing with people. Unlike shitty, poorly designed, Fallout 3.
I think it's much more convenient that all these assumptions you've made allow you to avoid any effort required to actually refute what I've been saying.
Fallout 2 has a pretty similar structure where you go from Arroyo, Klamath, The Den, Modoc, Vault City and then it opens up
Having a progression path does not remove player agency, you have plenty of freedom what to do as you're walking along the path to New Vegas
The only really bad part is the Come Fly With Me Quest which is extremely linear and doesn't give you much of a choice, it's half an hour of running around the same facility which is the same every time you play
What mods add better faces?
I have been refuting everything you're saying down to the T, in a professional calm manner. Could just call you a low IQ faggot but I entertain you, say thanks.
