Probably because Slovakia was so beyond their ability to reach that it was impossible to do anything about it. Also, they had just acknowledged German rights to annex German majority regions in Sudetenland and it was undeniable that the Hungarians were basically doing the same thing. Poland likewise annexed a small strip of land with a Polish majority in northern Czechia.
