I'd reckon that this has a lot to do with the pressures they face from a common enemy. Alt-righters have to find a way to hide their power levels and avoid social suicide, so they take on libertarian positions to defend themselves from being called Nazis.
Libertarians get tired of being called a Nazi anyways and say "fuck it" and take on alt-right positions.

Hoppe's basic point, I suppose is that the welfare state of any kind - even the right-wing kind - inevitable leads to civilizational decline and a breakdown of normal family and kinship relations.
Jaxon Brooks
Well more conservative in the sense they defer to natural law as opposed to government law.

Based blacks and hispanics putting an end to libertarianism.

But the problem with using the NAP as a basis for society is that it becomes far too complex to handle. Your interpretation of the NAP as it relates to a situation may be different than someone else’s, etc., and then you get essentially modern constitutional law - an entire field based around the interpretation of some guidelines which were supposed to be extremely simple. So, the NAP is a noble goal, but it falters in reality. Traditionalist views on force - like, medieval times traditionalist - were far more usable, because they basically just said “protect your sovereignty and expand your power”.

This exactly. You can lower all the taxes you want, ensure all the civil liberties you can dream of, and shut down every bureaucratic office with an acronym, but if you don't have a stable community of traditional family units, it all means jack shit.
Libertarianism is not a political ideology that has a pathway to achieve it built-in. It is an endgame that relies on anti-libertarian practices to get there.
Gavin Hughes
I'm still a libertarian. Why should I change my view?
Dominic Robinson
Yeah, but “conservative” has like 50 fuckin meanings. Natural law vs. governmental law is only one of the conservative/liberal sliding scales.
