Would you let her put you into a coma, projecting you into a collective unconscious?

The new system is just prioritizing field work instead of well-work.

Wouldn't putting two people in at once be prioritizing well work?

why did he have to die

Trippy nightmares are also the best. I falsely woke up like 4-8 times in a row and then finally woke up for real. It was really strange. Your brain plays tricks on you in dream space to skip time (fake decade long "dreams"), reduce rendering detail, use jibberish text, ... it basically like a video game running on your IMAGINE. You only are letting "nightmares" get to you.

Did she? I thought Forehead wondering about Miyo having a full name implied that Thunderbolted was her first well. Narihisago wouldn't have jumped so quickly to the conclusion that they were diving into his well if Hijirido had done other wells before.

He hated being a great detective initially but was fufilled by the end of it. Also if he didn't die then his well could still update and there would be a small chance the evil guy would escape but since dead people don't update wells anymore it becomes a static snapshot that will never change.

Yeah don't forget nightmares are still just fake dreamscapes in your head they can't actually hurt you in any physical way unless you consiously let it. The its all a dream applies to even nightmares. If you accept that you should be able to deal with nightmares better and even enjoy them. This is one definite case when your mindset literally determines how you precieve your REM sleep memory fragments. So if you say no then it is a no for you but not everyone thinks the same way.

If you're enjoying it, then it's by definition not a nightmare. Your brain knows exactly how to scare the shit out of you and you finding conventionally scary scenarios fun doesn't mean you're a tough guy who doesn't afraid of anything. But yeah, I guess some people would enjoy what others would find scary.

I'm probably just a massive brainlet, but how exactly was John Walker 'making' the serial killers, beyond just letting them kill Kiki in their dreams? Also, how did he make them kill on specific days of the week?

If it is scary shit its a nightmare. Doesn't mean people don't enjoy scary shit. When your greatest fears are on a parade inside your REM sleep that would be classified as a nightmare but when you wake up and review your memories it depends on your consious mind's interpetation of the memories. You are free to define your memories however you like.
