No movie will ever be as hyped as The Phantom Menace was, that pre-prequel marketing campaign was so memorable. Episode 7 had similar energy around it leading up but wasn't the same. Crazy that they both ended up being so fucked.

The problem isn't that they focus on women and minorities in their movies. The problem is that their movies suck. I am convinced that they make bad movies pushing these themes on purpose. I just don't see what their overall goal is. By now they should have at least accidently made something good if it was just a coincidence. Predator is a minority heavy movie and it's great. Recently Mad Max Fury Road was a women centric movie and it was great (Trolls stay in your holes please). But every women/minority movie that Disney makes is terrible. It can't JUST be incompetence.
