Are you ready for another flop and media drama?
Are you ready for another flop and media drama?
If it’s “female centric” as in explores the every nook and cranny of green space sluts in Java’s hut then I’m all for it
>Didn't work before
>Try it again
strange business model
>Acquire beloved IP
>Hire directors and producers that know nothing about the product
>Push current year politics, diversity and women at the expense of plot, story and what made fans love the ip in the first place
>Push trailer out
>Fans hate it
>Call fans nazis, deplorables, say your movie isn't for white men or old fans
>release movie
>massive financial dissapointment
>nuke ip
>repeat process
It's seriously beyond anything. Is the library agenda so precious in Hollywood that they're willing to lose money with flop after flop?
I hope Hollywood doesn't get a bailout.
Which is the craziest shit. Disney has already been very popular with the "Disney Princess" stuff, but they lacked merchandizable IPs for boy audiences. It made perfect sense to buy Star Wars for that. But then to let the feminists run it into the ground, pure madness.
>user I put my barbie dresses on your GI Joes they're better now
You cannot anger me, Star Wars is over and thus I am immune to bad Star Wars news.
I want a book written by someone who's on the inside of all this.
Like seriously, a lot of newfags and zoomers don't understand. Star Wars was THE brand. You put a Star Wars logo on anything, and it fucking sold. The movie pretty much invented the concept of mass market merchandising. Sure there were other things before hand, but nothing ever came close to the market ownership that Star Wars had.
With the toys alone, Disney could have kept SW going for 100 years. Instead, they killed what was THE BRAND in less than a decade with 3 shitty movies and 1 movie literally not even the fans wanted to see.
