I just wanted adult adventure time and got lame interviews.
Yas Forums‘s main complaint of this seems to be that it’s faux intellectual and that it isn’t “deep” enough...
Most people are ok with it being dumb, I do agree some of the speakers are unlikable, maybe they wouldn't be if knew the person talking and why he was a guest in the podcast but I won't and that's the shows fault
Biggest problem is the disconnect between what the characters are saying and what's going on around them and I know that it isn't directly ripped from the podcast because characters get confused about the name they should use and the host/protagonist corrects them
Jews aren't an evil organization in charge of ruining the world, those exist but aren't controlled by them.
But there are some serious issues with their culture
This fish man is a cuck.

An in-depth study of Christian apologetics
Yas Forums wouldn't know deep if it came and fucked them in the ass

Nothing, a TV show is not a good medium for depth. Books are a good medium for depth, because you can read a difficult bit several times to get it, and you can have vast amounts of knowledge in a single book.
To a similar extent, academic papers are deep, but they require three or more years of prep to understand, so they're not a good medium for a layman.
So TV shows are not a good medium for intellectual depth, but they can have emotional depth and depth of character, through the virtue of good acting and good writing.
So cut out everything that stands in the way of good acting and good writing, which is all the verbal diarrhoea in the show, and you get a show that's emotionally deep even if there's nothing intellectual about it.
People would complain about it no matter what because it's a meme gripe to have. It reminds me of how fags would whine about how certain adventure time episodes were "pretentious" or "faux-intellectual", without actually specifying why or how they were.
