Why did they retcon him to have PTSD and give him issues he already dealt with in the previous series again?

>No, that's how PTSD works in really poorly made animated cartoons user.
Then in the SUverse is different, call it a day
>PTSD isn't that fucking convenient in real life.
Neither was for Steven

I missed the steg thread about fusion

You can have more than one problem at a time.

It's bullshit. Rebecca tried to add everything and the kitchen sink to Future just for drama points because tumblr fans would call her deep and pro mental health or whatever. None of the plot threads were addressed in any way. Why did Future's Steven get triggered when he was called weak?

Sure, but these problems are introduced over one or two 11-minute episodes and then never really addressed again.

>Then in the SUverse is different
Which is it? Is the way it was portrayed in SUF accurate or not?

I love Steven. I wish we could have gotten to see him being happy again, at least for the last episode. Instead they made a forced sad episode about him leaving for no reason other than make all the characters say goodbye to the audience.

Am i the only one who feels like this character arc would have worked better with Lars?
The idea of everyone moving on with their lives. Even the girl you never admited to like is now succesful with her dreams and has another person in her life.
While you're wandering aimlessly in space, being pink forever.

>Everything's Fine
Was Steven always pretending that everything was fine during the show, or is this exclusive to Future?

>How messed up is that? That I've gotten away with this for so long?
>for so long
What else did he get away with other than shattering Jasper and trying to shatter White Diamond? I don't think we've ever seen him do anything of the sort before.

>I haven't learned a thing from my problems. They've all just made me worse.
Is he selling himself short here? We do see him learn from his problems. Before Future, that is.

>You think of me as some angel, but I'm not that kid anymore
So he was at some point? Doesn't that contradict "for so long" just a couple sentences earlier? Or are the few months during which Future takes place enough to be referred to as a long time by him?

>here comes a thought
