I really don't know how to make this more clear, the current standard for writing and art for comics is at an all time low. No one wants to go out of their way to support bad comics.

Do you think businesses like these have huge stockpiles of money on reserve? No, even Disney is hurting right now. Business relies on supply and demand, and since comic books are one of many non essential businesses forced to shut down due to COVID-19, they naturally are starting to feel the financial pressure. Help a brainlet understant something. Why are comics shops suddenly in deep shit? Like 99% of them sell other stuff more profitable than comics. Yugioh, Pokemon, MTG, board games and anime statues. You could deliver this to peoples homes and a 50$ board games is better than 20 bucks in comics. Why the temporary cancelation of weekly comics is such a big issue?

Marvel has at least attempted a few thing, they slashed the cost for orders last month before Diamond shut off the supply. It's not much but it was at least something. DC has not said a peep, some LCS owners have said that they attempted to pass a few things past AT&T but that every time they were shut down. DC is responding the worst out of all of them, by not responding at all.
