Holy shit youre a fag
Who's to blame?
>Okay so what I've grasped from you is that you're a child with little understanding on how this business works.
Like your Big Brain take on all this? Sales figures have been at their lowest in pretty much the history of comics. We live in the Grand Age of Superhero fandom, when kids are seeing the movies and going to shops to read more about their new heroes, only to find Cap is a Nazi/Hydra agent along with all the other dumbfuckery being shoved down readers throats.
Sales have been HEAVILY reliant upon variants and gimmicks, which does not create a healthy market. The fact that the industry is so widely fucked after only a few weeks shows how poorly they were doing with liquidity to begin with.
Seriously, you need to to brush up on a LOT more before you insult someone else's take on the industry, because you are demonstrating a more "child with little understanding" approach with your criticism of OP.
There was a ton of plausible talk about the industry dying soon before Covid was even heard of.
The problem with how manga do it and how comics do it is likely tied to how much of a collector's market comics are. With manga, you aren't supposed to keep the anthology magazines, they're for recycling after reading. Volumes don't have the same collector worth as floppies do, there's no such thing as variants in the manga world. But because of the collector's market (and the LCSs that feed into it), comics are more expensive to produce and are therefore billed at higher than manga are. Changing this requires completely restructuring the industry, likely with lower wages for creators.
>OP Whines about content when the real killer right now is DISTRIBUTION
Dumbasses
oh shit you changed my opinion on this subject with that utterly witty remark, truly you are a high iq individual. So IQ that you don't even need to address anyone else's arguments, you're too smart for such a lowly thing.
