Really, industrial was just post-punk types incorporating what had been happening in avant-garde music for years. Einstürzende Neubauten were sort of the Stockhausen of the post-punk era. Some real composers came out of industrial, like Graeme Revell of SPK. It also wasn't a completely unique era - the early days of industrial happened at the exact same time as the no wave movement. Also, while there were a few extreme right people in industrial, most were apolitical, and a few were even very idealistic, progressive people, like the members of Test Dept.

Genesis is influential. Boyd Rice and Tibet both have their small cult followings. Sotos is nigh irrelevant anywhere but Yas Forums because he's an edge lord. There are so many people who are way more influential than any of these except Genesis. Are you retarded?
On the second point, you're literally retarded. I'm not apolitical, I'm actually pretty politically active and left wing, at least economically. Most bands are apolitical in any genre. That doesn't mean the members are apolitical, just that the band doesn't focus on politics. What I said about industrial, you could say about a lot of genres - most bands are apolitical, some are right wing, some are left wing. I even gave an example.
