>Beatles
Yes, rock was generally a mistake.
>Beach Boys
Some catchy tunes I suppose.
>Kanye
Lol
>Prince
Uhh hahaha.. If you think Purple Rain was in anyway profound then I have some bad news for you..
>Michael Jackson
Again, catchy tunes don't make you a great artist. Twinkle Twinkle little star is definitely catchy; still not Beethoven.
>Bowie
Some good songs, I guess. No masterpieces though. Generally a conman.
>Fleetwood Mac
Lol come on man!
epic
Pretentious if you dont think Bowie or Beach Boys ever had any good tunes. Whats good Music to you then?
how is it possible for those who are pleb filtered to never realize theyre being filtered? It's always the "other," never themselves that are being filtered. They can never accept the idea that its THEIR own bad taste that leads to their shortcoming of judgment. They have no idea how to rationalize this, it completely implodes their worldview so when an album doesn't meet their idiosyncratic idea of perfection, and gets praised for aspects that are practically invisible to them, they start SQUEALING about how unjust and blind the board is. The hilarious irony is that they dont have the means to unpack this dense sonic experiment. Therefore, they scramble for scapegoats -- its identity politics! shes a woman! etc etc, getting dragged down under the weight of their lies and copes until they form the freshest layer of seabed, together with all the other right-wing coping scum, perpetually crushed by the immense ocean of talent above

hidden track off her latest album
You have to wonder how many of these people acting like it’s the one of greatest albums of the millennium have even bothered to listen to Idler Wheel or Tidal. You have to wonder how many even fucking knew anything about her before this.
I personally thought that The Idler Wheel was a much better album. More cohesive instrumentation, and the pain Fiona is releasing on that album is quite substantial.
Also, Bolt Cutters has this artsy lo-fi (but not really lo-fi) production that just doesn’t match her songwriting, in my opinion. The lyrics come off as cringeworthy at certain times, and I don’t feel the “soul” in her expressive vocals. Once again, her vocals are expressive, but not soulful.
