literal retards can understand "basic" theory. have you ever seen a piano?

this but Schönberg(pbuh) revived it

Is basic theory enough, though? I want to be able to understand and differentiate like the average classical listener does.

Favorite symphony besides Beethoven's 9th?

I'm thinking Mahler's 5th.

The absolute state of Stravinskyfags

one by Bruckner. Can't decide which one though

>understand and differentiate like the average classical listener
the average classical listener does not pull out the sheet music and follow along. they mostly understand and differentiate by listening to a wide variety of music. being able to id a composer and era by style and form might put you above the average classical listener im afraid.

Choral is a meme symphony
