You are partly to blame for my desire to knock one out.
If you spend a day learning katakana, you'll be able to read all the engrish you can eat.

shit, I thought there was more to it than that, like a specific type.
Like there's definitely a certain style I associate as being the "default" op or chill slice of life song but after just watching a few different naruto op's or hearing a mathrock song in the opening it's pretty obvious how diverse it gets.

>You are partly to blame for my desire to knock one out.
to thank. You have to be true to yourself friend.

>katakana
i'm trying to put off becoming a complete caricature, but perhaps somewhere down the line.

I like this style of music too but I haven't done anything but read and listen so far.
I feel like you could use a transient shaper to give the stabs and drums more punch
Hopefully someone who knows whats up will chime in.

1/10 name
what piano? I like the sound of it

the vocals contrast the rhythm in a way that makes the song feel... not ACCELERATED like how machinegirl makes you feel. A lot of the random elements slow it down a bit... like they linger too long? They need to flash in and out and create a sense of urgency.

I agree with about the overall punch but that's a super shitty non-volume matched demo.
Transient shapers are generally not the first option you should be going to in this situation imo, your song lacks more in basic volume eq and compression- not that it's terrible but I mean you haven't taken it as far as those foundational tools should take you yet.
