Fitting edition lmao.

Good evening /gg/ homos, help me out here please. Looking for a cheap short scale bass for home recording (either straight to interface with VST or through guitar modelling amp). Content with 200, 220 euro model if it gets the basics done. These two interest me
>Ibanez Talman 30
>poplar body, maple neck, P/J pickups
>seems 100% versatile but also soulless
>Epiphone EB-0
>all mahagony, fat neck humbucker
>seems 100% one trick pony but with character
Do you have any experience with these, or other basic short scale bass for home use?

no sam dyke plays rhythm guitar but you cant hear it in any of their songs

Oh hey, my dad owns the guitar in that pic (well, atleast one that looks alot like it). Though nowadays he prefers playing on a really nice red one, the same kind David Gilmour used. Should I ask if I could try his old one? Been kinda curious about playing guitar even though I'm more of a piano guy

Why does it matter to you which boomer played which guitar? Are you only playing music from the 60s? Do you only buy antique guitars?

Live in the now.
