Where is the Jay Electronica album? I need something for the boomer in me

dios mio...
do americans REALLY?

Yeah it's unfortunate. They're like the black version of Scientology in terms of their culty ridiculousness. I don't really give a shit if he believes in that stuff. I just wish he kept it out of the music.

Crazy that this dropped and no one cares because it's only on Tidal.

Who in the world thought that was a good idea?

Tidal is the superior quality sound choice for all streaming.

Jay Z. I care but I can't hear it. I guess I'll check it out in a week, if it leaks and I remember. I'll set a reminder on my phone for it.

Network effects.

No one is switching to Tidal, the period of peak market diversity has passed in the Music Streaming Industry. Interchangeable products in realms where network effects apply create a tendency toward monopoly.

I'm surprised Spotify and Apple Music are still co-existing.

Video streaming has gone the opposite way due to the nature of licensing and the complexity and cost-intensivity of production.

Also no one cares about the difference between 256 and 320 kbps nevertheless FLAC.

Same boat.

Initial hype matters though and they messed up by not capitalizing on the hype of such a long-awaited release.

You do if you're not poor.

Sad.

Looks like I was wrong.

Tidal is better than Apple and Spotify for dance music, black music in general. Sorry you guys are missing out. Enjoy your Beatles though!
