Why does socialism fail every single time they try to implement it?

Under socialism, the national government controls all major sectors of the economy. There is no competition. In the United States, you have the choice to move to where taxes are low, or non-existent. There is competition for services.

This isn't rocket science.

Great news, it's perfect!
Now government services can be not considered socialist

and socialism has never failed. it always raised standards of living, and made feudal shitholes into industrialized countries. the only failure of socialism was the return to capitalism, which brought with it mass starvation, reduction in quality of life, reduction in average life expectancy etc wherever it happened.
>inb4 comparing cuba with switzerland
cuba is a great example, just compare it to the average capitalist country in the region. while being a poor as fuck island, they're pioneers in medical research and send doctors to the whole world. meanwhile haiti and the dominican republic next to it are 3rd world shitholes.

I wouldn't expect a socialist to understand basic concepts. Carry on.

Bingo, there you .

...except that when a country nationalizes it's economy, there is no incentive for investment. Take Venezuela- oil production was nationalized and when oil prices dropped, there was no private investors to rely on and the snowball started rolling down hill. Think they were a shit hole in recent years? Oil is now worthless and that's all they have. And it's all under government control with no investors to tap.

Why does 'Murica have more corona cases and deaths and food lines than all the socialist shitholes you bitches whine about?

Alex, "What are population differences?"
We have a low per capita death rate and the highest number of tests around the globe.

I argue that the exact opposite is happening
The US workers are getting laid off left and right with no health insurance and one $1200 check once. Students don't even get to see the $1200, and barely get any EI. mortgage payments aren't stopping either, so people have to choose whether they want to pay 1/2 of their rent, or they eat.

Meanwhile just over the border you get $2000 monthly, banks are giving the option to defer mortgage payments, there's universal healthcare and even students get benefits now. Seems like socialism isn't so bad after all.

Who do you think funded them you tard
