This. I always wanted a tele but every one I played sounded like shit. Then I stumbled upon a PRS that had the sound I was looking for. Also plays really nice and easy. So I bought that. Wouldnt mind a tele one day tho. There was also this no name brand guitar that looked so odd (snake scale texture and pattern on standard body) but it sounded and played amazing. Kinda regret not buying it for the gimmick

Sorry I replied too quickly. Wasn't trying to be a dick or anything. I'd go for the Squire Bullet. If you want, down the road you can swap out the pickups for some better ones and have a pretty solid guitar for not a lot of money. Hope you enjoy whatever you end up buying, regardless and that you stay safe and healthy during these trying times.

if you can go a little higher for the amp, a boss katana is loads of fun for beginners, it has a ton of configurable effects so you won't need to fuck around with pedals and stuff
