My dad backed up over my cat and killed her a while back. I didn't hold it against him cause it was an accident, but I did want him to feel guilty about it. But I wasn't mad at him, weird I know.

Man.. shit happens, I used to have 2 cats, both died, I felt like shit, really. I stopped having pets, is not that I dont like them anymore, is just that because of situations like these, that I dont wanna have them. But yeah, It hurts, you may cry, you may feel like shit, but bro, its absolutely normal, so if you have to cry, just cry, dont contain yourself, do what you have to do and let it go, process it, assume it, its part of this fucking life. He died from ecoli. It is supposed to be a bacterial complication that is inside itself and it can be activated from the same fisiolgical process.

When I first brought him home (bout three weeks old) he just climbed down the bed, couple stairs to the litter box and used it like he already knew how.

When he heard my voice, he started to purr instantly.
He stood up on his back feet to ask me to pet his head.

Sorry to hear it user. I had to put mine down unexpectedly in February. Cried a lot, drank a lot, was really depressed for over a month, finally starting to come around. Had him for 11 years, and he was an awesome friend.
Its really hard losing someone you love, cry it out, you'll be alright.
