right now there are over 7 billion existing gods, since the idea of a god exists in every each one of us. it doesnt matter if you believe it to be real or not but you have some sort definition what god is in your brain. whether he sits on a cloud and watches over you or you just see it as a patriachistic tool. even people claiming to believe in the same good do differ in their view of gods intentions if you ask the them the right questions. the whole discussion has no end and is therefore pretty pointless. its like comparing the ultimate spiderman to amazing spiderman and to what someone who does not like comic books at all thinks about spiderman.
