Just like everything else when humans are devoid of spiritual they make new gods to replace old ones. Neo-liberal belief in science is completely unfounded in its belief that it brings progress or even even its belief in humanism. The foundations of progress being achieved through this world view is ironically founded in the Christian world view by placing meaning on the future.
They replaced one belief system with a new one and vehemently attack religion while espousing science as a replacement for belief while science is highly based on belief and politicized. Peer review studies often do not actually review the work, they publish and put their name on it to improve their rankings, a lot of work is not replicatable. A couple of experiments have found that when you are trying to publish they look at your creditionals and automatically approve it missing glaringly obvious mistakes that was planted in the paper.
Scientists are the ultimate busy workers. Bees gathering honey no more no less. Within the past months we have witnessed "logical science believing" people go from screaming listen to experts this is just the flu to stay in your home I don't want to die.
Atheists are cringe because they are sure of themselves and use being contrarian as proof of intelligence. While Christian's use feelings as proof of God. Militant Atheists are the fucking same thing as Christian fundamentalists while being oblivious to the fact.

right now there are over 7 billion existing gods, since the idea of a god exists in every each one of us. it doesnt matter if you believe it to be real or not but you have some sort definition what god is in your brain. whether he sits on a cloud and watches over you or you just see it as a patriachistic tool. even people claiming to believe in the same good do differ in their view of gods intentions if you ask the them the right questions. the whole discussion has no end and is therefore pretty pointless. its like comparing the ultimate spiderman to amazing spiderman and to what someone who does not like comic books at all thinks about spiderman.
