I work at a grocery store in NY for a dollar above minimum wage right now. I've got asthma that fucks me up whenever I get any sort of cold/flu. If I get C-19, I'm a guaranteed trip to the hospital and my insurance won't cover shit. So I'll get fucked by that assuming I don't die to the flu itself.
I can't leave my job because I won't get unemployment unless I actually have C-19. I genuinely feel like every day is a gamble for my life just so I can fucking avoid ending up on the street. I'm doing everything I can to stay clean, but fuck me, working with 100+ people a day makes me think it won't help
