try to not get bit somewhere sensitive right off. Grab a limb and try to swing the dog or pull. You want to break or dislocate something. Ideally slam that fucker's head into the pavement with as much force as you can. Use the shock of having someone actually hurt it to get away.

i actually had a pitbull grab onto my leg really bad one time. i managed to pull away before he really did any damage but i have a little scar from it. i was quite aways from home and it was late at night, i was bleeding pretty decent while iwas driving
