How many fake ones?

Didn't you know? Democrats brought back the 3/5ths rule for female voters back in 2014 to stop the flow of the female conservative voice. That's when your nigger president was in power. How does that make you feel?
She Won Commifornia by 4 million votes
So outside of California Trump won the popular vote too
check mate faggot
3 million? no. a lot closer than you thought. Hillary lost by 74 votes. The only votes that count- Electoral.
Breddy amusing user
This is gonna be a great thread I can already tell.
Remember: There are only 3 types of people who are in favor of the electoral college.
1, People who do not understand how it works
2. Politicians who benefit from the system
3. Voters whos team just won.
I find it funny how Republican voters talk about how The Political Elite is ruining the nation because they do not care about the average man. And also support a system where Political Elites elect the President, not the people themselves.
A system purposely designed to disregard the will of the voters, because the founding fathers believed the voters could not be trusted.
First past the post voting systems is the direct cause of our 2 party system, and the political gridlock we see in federal and state governments.
Our government is fundamentally flawed and needs to be rebuilt. Whenever a politician tells you the electoral college, gerrymandering, and first past the post are working fine and aren't a big deal they are lying to you for their own political gain.
Tell that to the Constitution.
>TL;DR
Still crying
If a state is 90% urban, and the candidate in question has a mostly urban base, if we just went on votes, they could just campaign in the city and ignore the rural areas. Electoral college exists so that all voters are considered. I mean, I'm not saying it's perfect, but it seems fair.

>she lost
Only won by 3 million after California and California alone harvested votes for a week after the election. Trump was ahead even in the popular vote after the election was over. This popular vote shit is manufactured democrat propaganda. She got destroyed in the actual election.
Very sad to see people with this attitude.
This is not a left vs right issue. This is a people vs the corrupt politicians issue. The Right is normally on the side of the people in matters such as this, which is why I added voters whos team just won.
To these people it matters not that the government is corrupt. Only that the corruption is on their side.
A fair government that listens to the will of the people should be an idea every citizen should support.
If we are an actual Democratic Republic then we should have a government that reflects that ideal.
If you are not in favor of such a government then why are we even bothering with voting, congress, states, or courts. Just put a dictator in charge and we can stop wasting time and money.
Hillary lost by 77 electors.
No significant voter fraud was found in any state.
That's not how the election works
But you think Russians interfered?
51.4% of the votes were for someone else.
Why the fuck does anyone still care
Good question, but ask the average NPC if they still care, and see what they say.
You're such a retard.
The only reason why people whine about the electoral college is because they think their candidate got cheated out of a victory and that's idiotic.
Both the hilary campaign and the trump campaign were keenly aware of the rules going in. Their entire political strategies were built around winning electoral votes as opposed to raw popular votes. Had the rules been different? Had it just been a contest of raw popular vote? Well then the strategies employed by both camps would've necessarily been different. There's no legitimate reason to believe under that circumstance that hilary would've won.
The only way one can look at the 2016 popular vote and determine hilary got cheated is if they believe, ironically, hilary should be allowed to cheat and take whichever result favored her as the definitive result. It's asinine. Get over it.
this
Why is it that a rural Texans vote counts for less than an urban voter in Wyoming?
Because of this, candidates campaign in swing states almost exclusively, and only in the biggest population centers within that state.
On top of that, with the winner take all system most states have, there are millions of voters whose votes are rendered meaningless.
California is a big state, there are many areas that vote hard Republican. Because of the dense cities, and the large number of Democrats within them, these people do not matter. a state with a 51% 49% split is given to the party with 51% of the vote, despite almost half of the voters dislike of that candidate.
With third party votes this gets even worse. If we had viable third parties in the US and the vote was split 40% 30% and 30%. the party with 40% would win all of the electoral votes. Despite the majority of the people voting for someone different.
This makes third parties less attractive to vote for. Which leads to the big 2 having to listen less and less to the people's concerns.
Spread misinformation yes. Hacked voting machines no.
In terms of Russian collusion, there was enough evidence to bring Trump to court. Would he have been convicted of anything, we may never know.
Both parties agreed that it was not worth impeachment to find out.
But the Mueller report did not clear Trump as most Republicans seem to think. Anyone who says that is lying to you.
>there was enough evidence to bring Trump to court.
>bring Trump to court.
>to court.
>fundamentally not understanding impeachment
Hillary lost. Cope more.
I do not care who won the election. I care about the system itself.
Even as a liberal, an election based on the popular vote that still ended in a Trump victory is preferable to a vote where Hillary won the college but lost the popular vote.
not in my city or state...'wtf are you talking about?
Come here anons! ^-^

>muh popular vote.
Stay salty, libtards.
There was enough evidence to bring charges against Trump. But because the President is the head of the Executive branch, you cannot bring charges against a sitting President until they are impeached.
Both parties independently decided that impeachment in order to bring Trump to court was not worth the effort.
Any misunderstanding here is the fault of your own reading comprehension.
I don't believe you.
Non human votesssss
>Comparing voting systems with Chess.
That's just about the most Yas Forums thing I have ever seen in my life.
more of her
Hillary Clinton also had more votes than Barack Hussein Obama in 2008...
Yeah, my grandmother voted for her. It was insane finding out Granny supported Hillary in 2016, considering she'd been dead over a decade at that point.

Playing Black jack, "I have a straight!"
Wrong game Hill, that means nothing
So she won the popular vote by approximately half of the population of NYC. Good thing just a few large liberal cities along the coast cant just control the rest of the country through pure mob rule.
>1, People who do not understand how it works
It's simple. You just dont seem to understand the point of it. It prevents direct democracy. It prevents population centers from ruling and ruining the country.
>2. Politicians who benefit from the system
i.e. only presidents, you retard.
>3. Voters whos team just won.
I've supported it through 6 presidential elections that I could vote in, regardless of the result.
If hilary won then why are these democrats mad at trump over the running of the country? Shouldn't they be mad at her?
Once you leave the cities, it's all MAGA Country.
love lifeguard pics like this.
>Because of this, candidates campaign in swing states almost exclusively
Better swing states than exclusively urban areas. At least with swing states you're reaching out to the politically undecided, who represent the views fairly well for undecided voters in non-swing states. I somehow doubt there's much overlap between the views of LA, NY, etc and everyone else.
Shut up and make me a sandwich
Yep. All that empty space, faggot

Some of us are old enough to remember the 2000 election and what a mess it was.
Some of us learned of the details of the electoral college back then, seeing it as a flawed system no matter who won.
Some of us didn't even vote for Hillary.
We should have changed our system then, for the 2004 election, or the 2008, or the 2012. But the people who have the power to change our voting system use it to gain power.
Abolishing the electoral college will not change the 2016 election, obviously now years later. But even if we had moved to change the system at the start of 2017, Trump would still be President.
He won the Presidency. Congratulations, now can we please axe the College in time for 2024?
It is very clear the only reason you are only in favor of this system is because Trump won.
Just try to imagine how you would feel if crooked hillary was sitting in the white house despite more people voting for Trump.
None of you people would have let that slide. You would be shouting for recounts and investigations into every ballot in every state.
Adding it to the list of corruption that follows in Hillary's wake.
If only I could visit that universe. I could bring back a photo of a fedora wearing neckbeard screaming at the sky on inauguration day.
And then immediately leave because holy shit Hillary is awful.

Rural states deserve a say in their affairs. They are semi sovereign, as per the constitution.
Tbh, I think we've gone the wrong way in the US. State rights should supercede federal, unless te result is unconstitutional. Same with county or local. If the fed wants to legalize pot, let them; if a state wants to legalize, they should; and if a city wants it to be illegal, that should be okay. In all cases except constitutional rights, this should be the norm.
Yes, it was supposed to be like that originally, when the numbers of Americans living in rural vs urban areas were roughly similar. However, the ongoing trend for the last century has been Americans moving out of rural areas with no opportunities or resources and into urban ones. Especially with young people who are educated. So now you’ve got an entire government that values the opinions of a few old disconnected fart bags in the middle of nowhere instead of the overwhelming majority of its citizens. And the way the Republican Party does things, it doesn’t even value them. It just uses them for votes and treats them like shit all the same,
