I don't see any limits imposed here. I think OP is actually removing societal limits. Sure, parents should be dutiful and care for their offspring, but literally everyone else is free to do whatever, or whoever the fuck they want.

How do you quantify the value of something you invented. If you make some useless shit lots of people buy and throw away, have you achieved? How about if you invented something that greatly changed a single persons life?
