Well you sometimes have to use whatever's close to you... and you know where that leaves you. Also there's nothing worse than a stiff whore. Just use WD-40.
Because diesels don't actually go "louder"... On a diesel you can actually enhance the sound just a little, like a lambo at idle at that's about it, but on diesels you have to keep a constant back-pressure in the pipes so it can act like a turbo breaking system when the wastegate is engaged. Also wastegate over blow-off valve noises are fucking nasty, so you better "silence" them...
