I explained to her that if there was something like a patriarchy i would have benefited from it by that point, wich i hadnt. And the personal tragedy hit him after transitioning the first time. Probably reevaluated his life and came to the conclusion that being oneself is not really connected to whats in your pants. I think a different enviroment during puberty would have helped to not create this obviously deeply confused individual.
Maybe she is an outlier, but that whole thing made me think that transitioning is pointless.
And the ' society thinks...' is just what you think society should ideally be but for some reasons you yourself dont conform to.
The same thing is with gender roles' if i cant grow a beard and am not big hairy and burly then im not a man but a woman' is a logic i have gotten out of some aquaintances who were defending transgenderism.

That's what I'm thinking. Maybe not that low, but definitely an improvement. I think there's this idea that all trannies are susceptible to random suicide at a rate of 40%, and some people have really latched onto the idea, but more functional ones don't do nearly that.

If there was therapy for this sort of thing that was sufficiently advanced and available, I don't think it'd be nearly as much of a problem as it is. But where the money lies, it's common wisdom to pay nothing now and pay even more later, for some reason. To some degree, trannies are ironically made by anti-trannies.
