How much can you bench press?

160 for reps

315 for 6 reps

it's not even that heavy why cant you do 10 reps like a human being ?

Sure bud

When I go to the gym I'm too antisocial to ask someone to spot so I can't max out but I can do 225 a couple times

90kg

Usually 110-120KG for 8
Max 160KG
Since lockdown... using dumbbells at home, 35KG :(

Yeah..

Maxed out at 275 but I’m an old fuck. That was the week before lockdown so I’m sure I’m a weak fuck now

If that ain't a whole fuckin mood user. 22 kg for me, I didn't think I'd need to get a home weight set so damn soon.

Whatever bro, believe what you wish.

Man it's fucked not being able to workout in a gym, I spent a lot of cash in the last month picking up dumbbells and a bench. Currently welding a frame together for dips/pull ups but the motivation to go and workout now is gone.

the bar

I'm an old fuck (36) and luckily have a buddy with a pretty amazing home gym (squat rack, bench, full rack of dumbbells up to 120 lbs. and a small cable machine). Last week I got 275 for 5 reps. With dumbbells, I can get 4-5 reps with the 110's.

Not him but y u mad?

Not even 150KG... what's so hard to believe? If I started at zero right now I'd be able to do 160KG within a year.

Post bod

Do I sound mad

I canceled my membership bc they're closed for the foreseeable future. I trust everyone that goes there, but we lost like 1/3 of our regularly and the owner doesn't want to risk our health. Nowadays I'm just browsing socnet, and cross boards to find a decent WOD. I miss my lifting bro :((( I can't see him cause of his asthma.

Most ppl cannot bench 315
Not impossible of course but the chances of someone on this board being able to do it is slim

Yes

>I can't so most can't helps me sleep
Why because you can't? Kek

I could a year or so ago, I've switched up my training though, I used think having a big bench would impress people...I find benching far less for higher reps more beneficial for me, most of the time I'll only bench once a week and my other push day is just dumbbells...so my bench has dropped to under 120KG...but my chest is far bigger now than it was when I was only lifting heavy.

only like a million

Not mad user
No dumbass. It's a fact that most ppl do not lift so the ppl that can bench 315 (respectable for most ppl under 225 lbs.) Is even more slim
I assume aesthetically it's better with your current routine then. It's probably better in the long run health wise anyway. Can't see benching too heavy being good on your body in the long run

so, jealous?

Nope. Jealousy of a bench press is silly. I plan on getting to that point myself (currently 260 bench) but I don't walk around being envious of ppls bench press

But then why disbelieve? Why not just say "neat" and move on with your life?

100 kg for 6 reps

170 lbs 5*5 doesn’t sound much , but 6 months ago I couldn’t do 100

I’m really good at one rep I can do 365, I played football in college . For reps the most I can do is 265 for 5 or 6 reps are not my thing

Good job user! Keep it up.

150 pounds 6 foot and i put up 200 pounds on the bench im a fitfag kek

B 140kg
D 225kg
S I dont squat

Because this isn't reddit

>I dont squat
manlet

ThIs IsNt ReDiT

How shall he prove it to you then user? Kek

: I always felt dumbbells were a better option for the chest, typically after my routine I have to walk around like a gym-bro, arms all wide and out cause my chest is so tight

Shot through my left knee in a hunting accident, not my choice cunt

175 for reps
Working toward 200 for reps
220 for a no spot 1
Benching under 1yr, unlike others not a movement I feel naturally strong with. (6"3 220)

Reps 225 x10.
Max with suit 455.
No suit 405.
I think it's a mental thing but. I'm having a hard time getting past it.
Btw I'm 6'3" 225

fat

You'll progress faster than you think keep at it brother

I believe you user can you let me in on how you achieved 315? For my own benefit. Is there a particular program you used or did you just incrementally add 5 lbs every other week sets reps etc

Pop the pig

Attached: 20200404_153754.jpg (960x1195, 550.55K)

I used to warm up with 100kg, 10 reps, no sweat.

Then pyramid up to 160kg for 2. About 4 sets.

Then incline flys and some pullovers. Cable flys to round out.

>mantel gives the arrow to the knee excuse

From my deadlift pr video

Squatting is the exercise manlets love you retard.

i hope you trolling, if not you shouldn't be wearing that belt lol

>how you achieved 315
Brute force and arrogance.

Having a big frame helps. Some guys just arent built to go heavy, nor need to

I don't max anymore but I can do 225 for 4 sets of 10.

I can bench twice my weight, i only weight 120-125 but my muscle strength is crazy for my size. No mass, all power.

Why not lol. Helps my back

what porn is this?

Progressive overload my dude

you should build your back to be able to handle that weight.

I always look at pictures like this before starting my workout. The built up lust in me makes me so much more aggressive and it makes sex with my wife later that night so good

After every chest workout weighted dips to failure. Full range of motion. That means all the way up and down.

When should I use a belt? 150kg?

what do you consider all the way down on dips?

Parallel is far enough. don't over stress your elbows
