MW was a remaster, not a remake.
Old games need remasters sure. But RE1-3 had remakes. I doubt RE4 will be a remake like what they did with RE1-3

I dont understand you at all...you complain that the game has bad hitboxes and detection yet you're on an emulator. Why can't you just buy the actual game and see for yourself if it is still bad.

1. I don't really want to buy a gamecube and controller and cables just to play one game.
2. Dolphin emulates it well, Im pretty sure the emulator isn't the problem.
