I can't say it's hard... but it's extremely tedious and requires a lot of backtracking... But only this pic and one more are hard to do since I need to find a background and integrate it, the rest I have are just colorization, and making a palette of original eris colors from the anime is helping a lot and I'm not flying blind.
Also, tbh I have no idea. I found them on some obscure japanese imageboard through yandex. From what I know the original Cat Planet Cuties manga has quite a weird art style, so I believe these are something fanmade.
Since I started this edit, I've got through half a pack of cigs lol.
