I do not feel the response has really lived up to the hype.
The mortality rate is high, yes, but not in developed areas. Most people outside the critical age ranges are only presenting with cold, allergy, or no symptoms at all.
Its not killing people in any alarming rate.
Influenza A+B killed 23,000 persons this flu seasons so far, in the USA alone.
I feel there is a lot of over blown disproportional panic. Its not living up to anything they compared it to (h1n1 avian /spanish flu in 1918 killed 625k Americans in a year... it has a 2% mortality rate. Sars-COV2 only has a 1.5% mortality rate in the USA)
stopping the spread is good, its logical, but its being done in such a way that causes more panic, more stress, more chaos and encourages people to essentially break it.
ID like this is not new, its not novel, its been a part of human existence since the dawn of time. Some people die. Thats just how life works.
I'm in what the UK has determined is "the most extreme risk" despite no evidence supporting this.
>If you are sick... stay at home, if you must go out wear a mask. wash your hands. quit eating weird shit. This is the best way to stop this, and what people should have been doing anyway.
have fun, see you later!
Give me a massage when you get back? I am so tired and starved of man's attention
