East Asian countries are putting out videos on how to make masks out of household paper products and saying that said handmade masks are almost as effective, but just begging people to mask up. Wear a paper towel on your face, it's better than nothing.
Meanwhile Western states that care more about the economy than the wellbeing of the people are telling people to go outside without any protection at all. God forbid the few remaining factories should have to retool into making masks, that might hurt big line.
