You are coming at it from the bias of a society that has already outlawed rape. But if it had never become illegal, then it's irrelevant if that's the only way you can get laid. Even sex from dating is like domesticating an animal. You feed her, are kind to her, and show her affection until she trusts you enough to let you penetrate her. That's not that different from an arranged marriage which is definitely a type of rape by today's western standards.
