If that keeps up and you get worst case possible 100% spread, it will kill over 350 million just from covid19. Add another 50 million or more on to that with others dying that cant get care for other emergencies and what not.

Nope. Each phone is linked to an individual who has to jump through hoops just to get an account. That phone then becomes their key to the city with violators of the Chinese Social Credits System. Without that phone, they can't catch a bus, ride a train or order goods or travel. The phone has three status colors: Green (for good citizens), Orange (for poor performers) and Red (for social credit offenders).
Put simply, those phones are like a driver's license. You don't leave home without them. Cancelling a "service subscription" doesn't explain why all the phone accounts are dead. Not a single one of those phones are being answered. People (like Bin Fang) who were arrested for reporting on Wuhan had their phones "drop off from the system". As did anyone being cremated. It's extremely suspicious.
