>infinite, thats like a couple billion!
There's nothing, is there? There really isn't. God, the state, the universe, DMT trip realizations. It's all bullshit...
Enjoy my Venezuelan gf
Yeah I know I'm kind of contradicting myself by stipulating two points, but I felt it was an important distinction to make lmao.
But what IS time? As far as I can tell, 3 things constitute time:
1. Changes in matter
2. Changes in space
3. Space itself
*And also our perception of these things.
God fucking bless
>we don't know enough about the universe enough to say whether or not it's infinite yet
You could argue that don't know anything at all for certain, but that doesn't mean we can't use our tools for reasoning to investigate.
Protip: nothing is wholly original, sooooo
sure, but from a scientific standpoint as far as I've heard they still don't know with a real degree of certainty what exactly is going on as far as the universe being infinite.
>they still don't know with a real degree of certainty what exactly is going on as far as the universe being infinite
Of course they don't. They can't calculate probabibity based on something that doesn't have one key piece of information -- and unfortunately that piece of information is the thing that would prove it.
As long as we can't observe anything outside of this particular universe, we'll never know. However, formal principles of reasoning can certainly make you lean in one direction or the other. You don't even need empirical evidence to realize it makes sense.
okay im done being smart now im tired of it good thought experiment tho ill think about it again another day, thanks everyone participate in this thread but it's now closed for business. /thread
But this is false. You're not a different consciousness, you're the same one. If you can honestly believe differently it proves you do not have a consistent consciousness.
