Go to this website, get a random bible verse and share it with anons here...

"The lord is all knowing and all powerful, but somehow couldn't create a human that wouldn't eat his apple and was unable to foresee such."

>So does this mean that all 300 million christians who uses NIV on the daily will go to hell?
No? But most of them will probably end up in hell, not because of the wrong Bible but because they aren't really Christian.
>What about the catholic bible ?
Catholicism is just ancient Babylonian and Roman paganism dressed in a Christian cloth.

That's a massive problem nowadays. You have a lot of what I've heard people call 'lukewarm' Christians. They only abide by some laws and teachings of Christ. They go out sinning, doing evil and then go to confession. Rinse and repeat. Most of them don't understand the nature of God. Most of them don't want to understand the nature of God because they aren't bothered. It's sad really, all this ease of access to all that knowledge yet a feudal peasant from the 1100's would be more knowledgable on the Scripture from a modern day middle class pseudo-Christian.
No worries friend, I already did that.

No user i dont mean the lukewarm part. fuck em lukewarms to hell.

I mean in revelations : john said anyone who adds or changes the word will be damned.

So catholics have extra books. NIV is not accurate. etc
So does it mean the most pious christian/catholics using niv will also go to hell?

Listening to religiousfags is like listening to geeks debate whether Star Trek is better than Star Wars

He knew Adam and Eve would eat from the tree of knowledge. He knew they'd be deceived. That's the price of free will. He told them not to do it. They disregarded His warnings.

The people who add or take away from the Word will be punished for it, for deceiving all of these people. People who have been deceived can still avoid hell if they still keep to the law and remain with Christ.
NIV will not give you enough information for you to fully grasp Christian theology. The Word is still there, God promised us that it will always be there. He didn't promise us that languages won't change. With new translations and changes in languages of course the original message gets diluted. I obviously don't expect people to learn Koine Greek or ancient Hebrew to read the OT and the NT, no. But people are plainly put lazy. They'll settle with NIV and then you have morons spouting nonsense like 'Jesus was a pacifist' or 'Christians are all about peace'. It's all nonsense. Use NIV all you want, but you won't get as much from it as you would from a KJV or WYC.

Best ylyl this site has seen in years

>Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
James 1:17

Aliens with fixed genetic codes come down from the stars to give us anal probes and other good things.

>insulting the book
So can you come up with a REAL reason?
The NIV says the EXACT SAME THING as the KJV.
Again, Matthew 5:17
"I (jesus) did not come to change the law or the prophets.
But (to) fulfill them"
