We can't get along now because we are way too divided. I believe that a literally omnipotent being could change that. If people didn't have to fight for resources in the same way I believe that we would get a long better. There are plenty of studies that show that when people have less money their cognitive abilities take a dip and they start to engage in what I call "poor behaviour". My family does that, they get worried about throwing things out because "what if someone found a way to use this better than me?!" and they'd rather pay a buddy to temporarily fix their car for 200 dollars rather than doing a big fix for 600 dollars.. then they have to do that temporary fix 8-10 times and have spent way more money in the end anyway. If we could eliminate that sort of thinking I think we would get along much better.

I would use that power to acquire just a small amount of wealth so that I could get my mom the best medical care. She has cancer. Other than that, I'd save some money for my baby sister's education and keep manipulating time so that I could accelerate my knowledge in my field of work while essentially keeping the world suspended.
