Is $5 tip on a $65 bill acceptable?

If you come to America and don't tip the waiter will sometimes follow you to the parking lot and threaten you. Also you can never back to that restaurant again or they may fuck with your food.

Where did you get your degree in American Studies?

Is there a way to auto hide threads?

AHAHAHAAHAHA id love to see this. Has this happened to you?

tipping is a decadent western tradition and keeps the wage slavery to be even harder on the worker, forcing him to kiss bourgeois ass and entertain him for his pleasing
anyone who can go out and afford a 65 $ meal but not a 20 % tip is a petty bourgeois pinchpenny

Only poor people don’t tip in the states

Imagine living in a country where everyone believes that on top of paying for the service, you have to pay a portion of the staff's wages and argue this whole thing about what amount is acceptable. Why not just raise the minimum wage and include the cost in the prices? Would drive me insane

I left a bunch of change one time as a tip (it was all silver and I was a poor college student). The waitress followed me to my car and called me a piece of shit at though it at my car. Chipped some paint.

Raising minimum wage would not fix anything. Servers already make minimum wage, anyway.
