why would you ever tip? fuck wagecucks anyway
Is $5 tip on a $65 bill acceptable?
yo most
of my late night regulars are millenials and tip anywhere between 25% to 50%. shit even my older regulars tip me an average of 30% because when they come in i remember their names, what they drink, i know what specials and new beers we have that they might want to try, i ask about their vacations, meet their families when they come into town for holidays, etc.
again i got good at my job so that i dont make minimum wage, a server that has spent less time in the industry than me will make far less. i make decent money because ive spent time learning how to do my job well and bring people back. i have people that come in to eat and hang out with me twice a week that spend 25 and drop 20 on top for me every time. as far as wanting a your own house and shit, nah i dont think people working for minimum wage expect that, most of them probably just want, like, you know, their own bed electricity, wifi, and food
>food doesn't need to be prepared
I assume you mean some kind of gimmick the waiter is supposed to do at the table when he serves you? Sure, but at those places they are definitely paying their waitstaff enough and it's the meals are so expensive that it's in poor taste not to tip.
>food needs to be kept warm
Just bring me my fucking food before it cools down?
Simp harder
what magical expensive city do you live in that you can get even a studio for 800 a month and minimum wage is 15/hr?
>tipping
do americans really do this?
Hahaha tell that to California. Minimum wage ain't shit
Didn't you read his post. Cheap places to live with good job prospects are just lying around, waiting for you to move in at no cost. Just stop living somewhere expensive like a poor person.
prepared to order dont cut my sentence off lol, sushi doesnt need to be prepared to order, neither does mcdonalds really (they keep the patties in hot holding for long periods of time and assemble teh sandwich, the entire menu is using the same ingredients things are prepared ahead of time to accommodate volume and the food is shit...).like if you want fast food thats fine i crush some myself from time to time but youre not getting the same quality
I had some American dick put a tip on my bill because it wasn’t the 10%. He crossed off the pen with a sharpie and wrote $20 on my $50 meal and I had to sort it out with the hotel in the morning. Also... it’s not the business that is hard done by, they still take $50 for a meal and pay the staff $5 and expect them to get a tip. Why should I pay for the meal AND your staff you tight ass Americans?
