I think it is because they thought they wanted to but then getting into it they realised they shouldnt have made what they thought was fun a chore. That and it is alot more emotionally and physically taxing to do it on a professional level. Then there is rhe whole adpect of "Anyone can cook an good meal but not everyone can cook a great one".

I'm studying cybersecurity and my dream job is the same. Become a hacker for our nation's version of the CIA. Turns out they recruit at my school so it is completely possible. Wish me luck anons.

You don't want to. They're horribly corrupt and are quite literally enforcers for the corporations. Most of what they do nowadays is planting evidence to incriminate people to justify next year's budget.

I don't know. I still don't know after over 23 years on this planet and changing my mind repeatedly. All that I've done is make a giant mental list of "not again/never ever". Something that pays reasonably well, makes me feel useful, and is relaxed/comfy.

Nuclear weapons assembly. That would be the shit. Or working in guidance systems for tomahawk missiles or something. Anything to do with weapons of mass destruction would be ideal.

I want to bring people I read about in books and play in games to life, and I have really good aesthetic taste so I know if I was happy with whatever product I turned out normies would also absolutely love it
The problem is I'm anxious about going to college for art even though its paid off for me because everyone will laugh at me for being in college for art and I'd be self conscious of other. students judging my stuff before I think it's perfect
