euro suburbs are not really "suburbs" in the strict sense - a front lawn, back yard, parking space (driveway or garage) for your car, fully detached house are necessary to meet definition of true suburb. They have "euro" style suburbs in NYC and San Francisco, they're called brownstones or whatever. Anyways, I agree that they are comfier.
Personally, I'd rather live in a soundproof apartment in a crime-free area with no minorities. Since that is becoming impossible in the West, i'd rather move to an east asian metropolis or way the fuck out in the middle of nowhere in a rural country house.
