But furnaces don't change shape just because you don't put logs into them

It's all about quantity. You can eat raw fat every morning as long as you are only eating a little bit
You may not like it but my weight loss dinner every single night has been a bow of low-fat cottage cheese with raspberries on top..
Cottage cheese is super duper low calorie and very high in protein.
Likewise raspberries have the lowest calories and most fiber per serving.
Completely unnecessary to do the same thing for dinner every single night. You would be just as healthy having marinated chicken breast as long as you cut back at breakfast
cut ALL refined sugar in your food. That's the most effective way of losing weight fast without effort.
That means no soda (not even diet), no sugar in your coffee anymore, no candies, chocolate. Also limit white bread and the likes.
have 2 meals a day instead of 3
You are eating conveniently, unfulfilling trash laden with sugar.
Easy way to meet calorie count equivalent of a diet is to understand what each food is for.
>Carbs, meaning spaghetti, noodles, bread and shit?
This is for quick energy burst, it's not fulfilling for long, but it keeps you from collapsing at work. Low cakorie value if not packed with fructose syrup or sugar. You get hungry pretty quickly with these, and in latter case, you get fat.
>Protein foods, meaning meats and stuff
This is usually filling, energy dense food. It is used normally to supplement carbs. This stuff doesn't actually make you fat because you don't burn through it so quickly, which is why keto diets work at controlling appetite. Basically, if you get hungry a lot, eat more meat and less sugar.
>Vitamins, vegetables and fruits
Sugar comes from fruit so not good diet food. Increases appetite.
Vegetables tend to be carb foods, so a salad, though low in calories, is just an extra unfulfilling meal.
You eat these to keep yourself from dying off scurvy and shit.
I am not an expert, but this works for me.
If you buy staple foods which are fairly cheap per kilogram, they usually don't have high calorie count
Stop eating so much and avoid fatty foods or foods rich in carbs. No bread, no rice, no nutella, no popcorn, no donuts, no nuffin. Just salads and meat. Make sure to be take it gradually tho, and expect to have monster cravings for that shit.
If you have a sweet tooth like I do, coke zero does wonders, as it fulfills the need for sweet, has virtually no calories AND has caffeine, which stimulates fat burning.
Don't drink too much fruit juice. It sounds healthy, but it's basically a sugar solution, which means lots of sugar and super fast absorption, which will be processed in your stomach very fast and you'll be hungry again despite the massive sugar intake. If you want the vitamins, eat the fruit, as it has fibers which are hard to digest and phisically limit your intake.
Also, drink LOTS of water, to keep your stomach full and your pumps running.
To know how much to eat, calculate your bmi and calorie intake for your lifestyle, and then pick a number that is visibly lower than the one required to keep your current weight (if you need 1590 kcal a day to keep your current weight, don't go with 1589 kcal. You go with 1090). Avoid alcohol and especially beer or cider. It's the same as fruit juice but with alcohol.
You can also do sports to drop the weight, but you gotta hold the leash SUPER tight, because your cravings will be bad enough from just cutting the intake, let alone doing serious effort. Just see what sport clicks with you and do it, but don't force yourself. Take it gradually.

Its gonna take a while before you see results, but it works. I dropped almost 10 kilos in 4 months by just sitting on my ass and not eating ( I did get quite pissed at my flabs and ate only 500 kcals a day tho, so it might take longer for you.)
2 things worth mentioning:
#1. Expect to meet a floor AKA you stop losing weight even though you keep going with the reduced intake. That's the body's way of saying "No, fuck you, I ain't giving up fat no more. Go eat you lazy fuck!"
That floor can be moved if you just keep going, but expect to go for a while without the scale's needle moving, until the body gets used to the new weight. Then you'll continue losing weight.
#2. Once you reach your desired weight, don't go raid a donut shop. You'll balloon the fuck up and be fatter than before, spoiling all your previous effort. Calculate your expected intake for your current weight and stick with it, or balance it out with sports or fasting( like, you can overstep the intake boundary and eat, say, a shawarma and a cake today, but you go hiking/ don't eat anything tomorrow).
Don't eat till you feel full. Eat till you feel not hungry.
