How do i lose weight? I've been cycling for 40 minutes every day for the last 3 months and nothing...
eat at a calorie deficit retard
How many times do you people have to be told that doesn't work?
lol enjoy being fat forever retard
This belongs on fit but I would recommend eating only 1500 calories a day I have been doing this with cardio and weight lifting for around 6 months and have gone from 210 to around 180 it is mostly about how many calories you consume also would not hurt to eat fruits and vegetables on a regular basis
hahaha that doesn't work are you a mutant who absorbs calories though? the air stop stuffing your face fatty
t user who has no self control and stuffs his fat ass all day
Why did you put a random? question mark in the middle of your sentence.
Count your calories nigger. Do the 1200 caloric diet combined with intermittent fasting
Thank you user, the thing is some days i eat nothing and other days i have a full breakfast and dinner. I think that kind of fucks me up as well.
Count calories, that's the single most important thing you can do to lose weight.
Make sure to factor the calories from cooking with oil.
Keep up your daily exercise.
You can eat most anything as long as you stay within your calorie budget.
If you're that worried though go easy on carbs and sugar.
Also some might direct you towards Yas Forums but it can be a very spartan place for beginners to get advice.
I'm going to get shit on for this but try going on you know where's /r/loseit.
Very beginner friendly and they have tons of guides that even a dumby can understand.
Be careful though user for some counting calories can lead to an eating disorder but if you want to eat breakfast try frying eggs instead of scrambling also something I found helpful is that if you portion control how much you eat it helps a lot such as you get how much food you want for your meal then put a little back so you are not stuffing yourself
I feel that fasting is your best option but it's gonna be miserable. Avoid soda like the plague but I believe coffee is fine. Just don't cheat and drink Monster brand energy drinks thinking that's a healthy alternative. Also, I think a moderate amount of cardio, lifting weights and pushups a few times a week helps.
You have to start somewhere user. Rather start today then next week when you're slightly heavier.
Stop eating so much first of all. I know you've heard it a million times but it's true.
Second of all, cardio burns barely any calories at all. Running burns 100 calories per mile, and cycling considerably less.
I went from 230 to 170 simply by having a restrictive diet. Cup of coffee for breakfast, a standard sized lunch, ie a sandwich or peanut butter smoothie, and then I'd eat dinner until I was satisfyingly full, and not making myself continue after my body told me it was filling up.
Hell, I you don't even have to count calories. Just be aware of the amount of food you are putting in your body.
Also, no snacks unless it's a holiday or special occasion like a get together of more than a few people
See, that's what's fuckin' you up user. By eating irregularly, you're basically training your body to slow down your metabolism and retain calories more. You need to keep a low calorie count while stil eating a regular three meals a day.
Or if that's too much work, doing amphetamines for a while is a pretty good shortcut. I've lost 7kg in the past month, out of which I did speed for like a week and a half in total.
You are a retard. Eat 1200 calories a day and it is physically impossible you don't lose weight. If counting calories didn't work for you before, you were doing your math wrong or being dishonest with yourself.
why dont we stop putting coal into furnaces so they go into starvation mode and dont lose any heat?
ALSO STOP DRINKING FUCKING SODA
THE DAILY RECOMMENDED AMOUNT OF SWEETENER IS 25 GRAMS. A STANDARD SODA HAS BETWEEN 60-75. JUST FUCKING STOP.
Also this stop drinking soda and switch to sparkling water it is a good alternative
Just cut out all sucrose from your diet. If you are going to eat sugars eat fructose or starches in moderate amounts. Stop consuming any drink that has calories. Cut all alcohol. Obesity cured.
Thank you everyone for contributing, i appreciate all your help.
I'm trying to limit what i'm eating from now on, what's a good dinner and is Toast, Cheese, Tomatoes and Milk a good breakfast? I'm cutting out all snacks and stuff aswell.
But furnaces don't change shape just because you don't put logs into them
>is Toast, Cheese, Tomatoes and Milk a good breakfast?
It's all about quantity. You can eat raw fat every morning as long as you are only eating a little bit
You may not like it but my weight loss dinner every single night has been a bow of low-fat cottage cheese with raspberries on top..
Cottage cheese is super duper low calorie and very high in protein.
Likewise raspberries have the lowest calories and most fiber per serving.
Completely unnecessary to do the same thing for dinner every single night. You would be just as healthy having marinated chicken breast as long as you cut back at breakfast
cut ALL refined sugar in your food. That's the most effective way of losing weight fast without effort.
That means no soda (not even diet), no sugar in your coffee anymore, no candies, chocolate. Also limit white bread and the likes.
have 2 meals a day instead of 3
You are eating conveniently, unfulfilling trash laden with sugar.
Easy way to meet calorie count equivalent of a diet is to understand what each food is for.
>Carbs, meaning spaghetti, noodles, bread and shit?
This is for quick energy burst, it's not fulfilling for long, but it keeps you from collapsing at work. Low cakorie value if not packed with fructose syrup or sugar. You get hungry pretty quickly with these, and in latter case, you get fat.
>Protein foods, meaning meats and stuff
This is usually filling, energy dense food. It is used normally to supplement carbs. This stuff doesn't actually make you fat because you don't burn through it so quickly, which is why keto diets work at controlling appetite. Basically, if you get hungry a lot, eat more meat and less sugar.
>Vitamins, vegetables and fruits
Sugar comes from fruit so not good diet food. Increases appetite.
Vegetables tend to be carb foods, so a salad, though low in calories, is just an extra unfulfilling meal.
You eat these to keep yourself from dying off scurvy and shit.
I am not an expert, but this works for me.
If you buy staple foods which are fairly cheap per kilogram, they usually don't have high calorie count
Stop eating so much and avoid fatty foods or foods rich in carbs. No bread, no rice, no nutella, no popcorn, no donuts, no nuffin. Just salads and meat. Make sure to be take it gradually tho, and expect to have monster cravings for that shit.
If you have a sweet tooth like I do, coke zero does wonders, as it fulfills the need for sweet, has virtually no calories AND has caffeine, which stimulates fat burning.
Don't drink too much fruit juice. It sounds healthy, but it's basically a sugar solution, which means lots of sugar and super fast absorption, which will be processed in your stomach very fast and you'll be hungry again despite the massive sugar intake. If you want the vitamins, eat the fruit, as it has fibers which are hard to digest and phisically limit your intake.
Also, drink LOTS of water, to keep your stomach full and your pumps running.
To know how much to eat, calculate your bmi and calorie intake for your lifestyle, and then pick a number that is visibly lower than the one required to keep your current weight (if you need 1590 kcal a day to keep your current weight, don't go with 1589 kcal. You go with 1090). Avoid alcohol and especially beer or cider. It's the same as fruit juice but with alcohol.
You can also do sports to drop the weight, but you gotta hold the leash SUPER tight, because your cravings will be bad enough from just cutting the intake, let alone doing serious effort. Just see what sport clicks with you and do it, but don't force yourself. Take it gradually.

Its gonna take a while before you see results, but it works. I dropped almost 10 kilos in 4 months by just sitting on my ass and not eating ( I did get quite pissed at my flabs and ate only 500 kcals a day tho, so it might take longer for you.)
2 things worth mentioning:
#1. Expect to meet a floor AKA you stop losing weight even though you keep going with the reduced intake. That's the body's way of saying "No, fuck you, I ain't giving up fat no more. Go eat you lazy fuck!"
That floor can be moved if you just keep going, but expect to go for a while without the scale's needle moving, until the body gets used to the new weight. Then you'll continue losing weight.
#2. Once you reach your desired weight, don't go raid a donut shop. You'll balloon the fuck up and be fatter than before, spoiling all your previous effort. Calculate your expected intake for your current weight and stick with it, or balance it out with sports or fasting( like, you can overstep the intake boundary and eat, say, a shawarma and a cake today, but you go hiking/ don't eat anything tomorrow).
Don't eat till you feel full. Eat till you feel not hungry.

It absolutely does work. I was 316. I started eating less. Or rather, I just removed all grains and sugary shit from my diet. I only drink water now and all my meals are otherwise the same, just minus the bread/rice/pasta. I went to 260 in a couple months.
